Under the premiss "innovation through cooperation" several businesses, research- and educational-facilities joined in 2001 to a network for the industries technical ceramics and electronics. This growth-kernel, so called "fanimat" (functional inorganic-not-metallic materials), focuses the regionally grown areas of authority in the application-fields electrical engineering/ electronics,optics /opto-electronics and medical technology.
In 2005 as continuation of the successful partnership the growth-kernel "fanimat
nano" was founded with the target of the implementation of
nano-technology procedures into the manufacture-chain of technical ceramics
and micro-systems to the development of new products.Please inform about the
development-projects to the application of nano-technologies and the areas
of authority of the region Jena-Hermsdorf.
